My name is Katey, and I am the creator of RP “Truths.” For those who don’t know, “RP” or Retinitis Pigmentosa is a genetic condition that slowly takes away ones vision, leaving them blind or severely visually impaired. I myself have had RP my entire life. As a young 23 year old, I needed to find a way to cope with this always changing condition, so I decided to use humor as not only an outlet, but an educational tool to help the public understand what we go through on a daily basis. Take a look around, have a few laughs, gain some inspiration and help educate by spreading the word!
